Should education sites be dark or light as their main color?

I think that it all depends on the person as well because different people will learn differently in each environment and therefore i think that this choice should be left to the user.

I have a simple rule, if you are running a site where you want visitors to read content and interact with the content, you need a light theme. That's because it is easier to read and write when the background is white. An educational site means people will be reading and posting comment, so light theme is better.
