What do you guys think about sharing content across blogs? Do you think it can have a positive effect or a negative?

I personally think depending on the blogs and the reasoning it can be positive between both blogs, but it depends on the communication between both. It also depends on how the community from each takes it, but it is all guess work, but what do you all think about sharing each other contents between other blogs?

It's definitely positive because it shows you have an interest in not just yourself but the content of others. Also, it will encourage people to share your content. Sharing is caring.

While I think sharing is caring, I never understood why one blog would want to share the same material between another blog, it would just create this sense of redundancy and the unique factor would simply plummet.

I sort of agree with this, but it helps to build relationships with the competition. If you share your competition's content, they will be more apt to share yours. There is always a good chance they won't, but like they say, any press is good press, any exposure is good exposure.
