Running a blog?

Do you write a blog just because you enjoy it or is it something you're doing because you have to do? Do you get paid for running the blog? Does it matter do you if you are getting paid or not?

I do it because it's fun. I own a blog where I just complain about things and I get a decent amount of views a day. I don't put advertising on it though

Back when I use to run one, I did it solely for fun. @Cameron and I had a blast running that thing back in the day.
