Rise of Social Media Marketing

With Facebook, it's another form of the email list (FB Groups and Pages). Of course, the email list has long been the way to market - way before social media. It's called "getting leads".

Social media marketing has grown due to two major reasons which I feel - the first is that it has come to the realization of entrepreneurs that a lot of money is being left on the table by not prospecting to these users.
The second is that a lot of internet users have been in the social media space- they have that sense of a community feeling via social media.
