Promotion Forums

I have joined a lot of them. However, personally, unless it is niche specific, I find Promotion websites barley do anything for my websites. Why? Well to better explain this, I'm going to quote josh over at Admining about his "Why Top Sites Suck".

Josh said:
Another reason topsites won’t help you is because your targeting the wrong audience. If you think about it, your using a topsite for the same reason everyone else is. So, what are the chances your actually going to get a member from the topsite you joined? Being a webmaster, I’m there to advertise and get the hell out. I’m 99% sure that mostly everyone else is at [inserttopsitenamehere] is too.

You can basically say the same thing for Promotion Forums. Everyone is there to promote their website / forum. In my opinion, the best thing a promotion forum does for me is give me one more backlink.

Im a member here and at forumpromotion im also a member at forumhour but im temp banned over there. Until february 1st.

My account is suspended at forum promotion, i use Forum hour, free to promo and Antiquus the most.
