What if I start pointing these previously unused domains to the current live or what are the possible consequences? I've got a list of several domains that are currently parked and doing absolutely nothing. It's time to dump her and move on. There are many things I would like to use and point to a live website, for example, I am using a .co .uk and I want to use the .com version which has not been used before.

I do not think the SEO value of your website will improve just by pointing your parked domains to your live websites. If your parked domains have a lot of traffic, it might help you to get traffic to your live site, though. You can benefit only from the websites that are live when it comes to build links
