Paying to be employed?

I wonder if it's only in the developing countries that this kind of thing happen often because it's very common in my country where those who are looking for jobs especially when they want to be employed in the government sector/Ministries would end up paying for the positions where they wish to be employed. It's a very sad thing to witness happening in the job sector.

I haven't seen that here, that's got to be frustrating when it comes to trying to get hired onto a job when you're broke. Just doesn't really sound legal either, so I don't think this happens here in the US and if it does then it's probably kept hush so the employer doesn't get in trouble.

Never heard of such a thing. That's crazy that people looking to be paid through a job would have to pay to get into one. Those companies must have lots of applications if they make people pay to be hired.
