pay per click ads?

What are your thoughts on using pay per click ads for website advertising?

PPC ads in my opinion are a waste of time because of the low conversion rate. I know a lot of companies use them, but it doesn't mean it's a good way to advertise. You can get the same results from designing and posting your own ads.

It depends who you buy the ppc ads from.

I think ppc ads can work. You just need to have a good game plan and funnel strategy. For example, make sure that when people click on the ad, it goes directly to a landing page.

Never liked them but I use them. I feel there are better ways to earn but I just haven't put enough time in yet.

I don't think that they are good. I mean it's a total waste of time because how many people actually want to click an ad? Pretty much no one and I can't imagine asking someone to do that, so I just think it's a waste.

Just like any form of advertising, if it's done properly then it can be beneficial to you. The best thing is to have a plan going in of what you want out of it. I think it is something that can be experimented with and if it doesn't work try something else.
