I know there are some other search engines out there, I know China has one, and so does Russia, but I forget their names. But, are there any other countries out there that have their own search engines? If so, are they worth it to rank your sites on?

I know of search engines apart from Google but I don't know which country owns them. one thing sure though is that no other search engine can compete with Google.

Seriously, I don't really know any other search engines than Google, Bing because I believe that the whole world makes use of them and they are very good.

I don't think other countries that have their own personal search engine have the capability to rank website like that of Google, bing, yahoo. They are just doing it so that they won't be left behind of what is happening in the world

Exactly, personally I believe that it's a general thing when it comes to search engines used all over the world. As far as I'm concerned, Google is the best place.

It makes sense to rank on all search engines available because getting traffic from search engines is the key to generate regular traffic. If you want to generate revenue, you need traffic from search engines.

I didn't know search engines could be owned by countries,I always thought that it's only social media platforms that can be owned by countries

Google is the king of them all and what's more, it's available in the local language of those countries so there's really no need to stress oneself when it comes to searching for information because truth be told, Google has grown so big, even bigger than sites like Wikipedia

Yes there are so many other search engine, that we might not even know of, but I don't see any need going for other ones, just focus on Google because google is one of the best if not the best out there

I know the main search engine is google, I know of bing which is owned by Microsoft located in US

Those other engines may have their popularities restricted to those countries but on a global scale, I think Google ranks the highest for most people.

There are a lot of search engines like Qwant for example I always make search in Qwant which is related to brave browser as default search engine but no know of original country.

Well it's true there are search engines for some other countries apart from Google, but there are some i do know asides Google but don't know it's a country thing probably just like Google like duck duck go

There are many countries that have search engines that are peculiar to them and it would be good to use them and try to rank your site but then the top ones still remain king

I really don't know any search engine except google and bing. But for the most part it is not usually worth it to rank your site on other search engines. There are exceptions of course, for example if your target audience is china based it'll be worth it to rank your site on chinese search engines

It will be wise for you to leverage search engines that are created in a country but then you should not limit your scope to only that and you should add it together with traditional search engines like Google and Yahoo.
