One common mistakes newbie bloggers make

When I first came into the blogging sphere, I was made to understand the importance of articles. I miss interpreted it as the 'more articles on my blog, the more money I would make', having that on mind,
I began copying articles and reposting them on my blog lol! Its so funny to recall how I never made a penny for months.

What's your own experience?

Seriously? That will make Google penalise you for plagiarism.

My mistake was thinking of long articles in the range of 5000 words or more.
Most times it took me weeks to put out a single article and I wasn't able to promote any. Thankfully I've learnt my lesson now.
