Nigeria has no reason to suspend Twitter indefinitely. I mean why associating social media with one's political flaws and lack of discipline. The reason for this suspension is never genuine at all

I read about this online - it's not really surprising though as it seems more and more governments are blocking social media sites due to the content that is on there goes against what the governments want people to participate in. It's scary but not the least bit surprising.

I was talking to friend today and he said he has a relation who is currently in London and was complaining about how things are abit hard right now over there, and would like to come back to Nigeria. My friend said the advice he gave to him was to never come back that he is better off. The country right now, i am even ashamed to call Nigeria the gaint of Africa

The tweet was removed because it violated the rules of Twitter. The Nigeria government claimed that twitter is more or less an IPOB social media handle and that they've been supporting IPOB all the way

Indeed sadly this is the state of the nation and to call ourselves the giant of Africa would be deceit because see what a nation like Rwanda is doing, growth is visible unlike here that it's the reverse

Like i stayed in benin republic for some years, though its quit obvious the country is a developing one and Nigeria is years ahead but what made mw surprised was their coordination. For a country so small not even as big as a single state in Nigeria. Their government knew what they where doing. They had constant Electricity, good roads and one of the most shocking thing is that Nigeria is actually one of their suppliers.

The Nigeria government behaves like jesters sometimes, who would have blamed them when most of those in power are all old and live in the past. They ban cryptocurrencies but people still use cryptocurrencies now twitter. There are many important issues they are supposed to attend to which they neglected but they have the strength to ban twitter that people still find a way around it
