Namecheap or Godaddy

I have more than 8 domains registered with Godaddy and only 2 domains with namecheap. I find the godaddy lot quicker with the settings and also easy to use. It's pity that they don't have free name privacy which namecheap offers you. I personally have found namecheap to be lot more better and cheaper in the long run. But still godady has it's benefits too.

Which one of them do you choose - Namecheap or Godaddy?

I hate GoDaddy's interface. They lost me me as a customer years. I have a few domains at NameCheap and trust them. I have had no problems with them. I also have used NameSilo, Name.com and my absolute favorite registrar is Epik, though.

My top choices are NameSilo and Dynadot.

Dynadot being my favorite but I just wish they had a reseller option!

I used both in the passed and Namecheap is the cheapest option in the long term. When buying the domain I found that the older the domain the more you pay for it. Crazy with who I am with. Remember when I paid $8 and now it's $15 a year.

Godaddy is good but support is slow and not good I found and yet Namecheap is that cheaper but not as easy to get around as GoDaddy. Not to mention that after a year or so I left them.

$13 for .com renewal? They might be cheap when you register domains from them but the renewals are a lot more.

I've used both Namecheap and GoDaddy over the years and always preferred Namecheap. They just seemed more professional and easier to use. GoDaddy's interface looks 'spammy'. I don't use either anymore, Porkbun is much cheaper.

I would want to say Namecheap here. I haven't used it so, I am not entirely sure about the service much but it should be better than GoDaddy and the renewal rates, are not too much either.

For Godaddy, the interface is good and all, but in the long run, you would want to save some bucks rather than use a service which got a cool interface. It's pretty reliable and I have heard the same about Namecheap over the years. So, I believe both are good and if you want to save money, then go with Namecheap or if you prefer easy navigation and interface, then you need to select, GoDaddy.

Either is workable with me. I am currently hosting a few domains with GoDaddy, as I got a couple of good deals on the domains I wanted. If I feel like I ever need to change, I know which options will cost me more than GoDaddy on the renewal, so I know to stay away from them.

I normally deal with my hosting provider and using Hostgatore, I feel it's enough me to buy domains from them as sometime they provide cheaper codes for domains specially big events like Black Friday. I feel it's easy to manage them from single panel and charged on same card. I used to have 18 domains and among them 8 was on Namecheap.

I would suggest NameCheap over GoDaddy for space enlistment.

It's easier to manage your domain names with Namecheap, too. Free backups and SSL certificates make it better value than GoDaddy. GoDaddy's plans may offer more storage, but it's way more than most users will ever need, so you're better off with Namecheap for its service and support.

Namecheap is the best. It is better than Godaddy because it offers a lot of features that you won't get on Godaddy. Namecheap is also cheaper and cost-effective especially for beginners. I highly recommend Namecheap.

I think namecheap is better than go daddy. Whenever I read go daddy reviews, people always complain that this hosting is so unreliable. They have the worst kind of support system. Namecheap is far better.
