Music That is Overplayed at Your Job

Do you feel certain artists are overplayed and/or intolerable? Do you wear hearing protection to avoid listening to it? Do you feel the artists might care that their music is forced on certain people that don't like it?

Pretty sure the artists aren't so bothered because if it's like store music, they should be being paid for that. The money tends to smooth out such worries.

Though at my job, the music choice is entirely mine because I'm 100% remote.

Yeah I don't think they can complain being played wherever whether people like it or not. As Arantor said, they get money for it.

And again, same as Arantor, I'm in charge of music because my job = driving all day. I change it up from radio to podcasts to my own music which is very mood dependant.

When I worked at Walmart I got tired of hearing early 10's pop music. I worked at Walmart from 2012 to 2018 but they would constantly play the same music every single day. I kid you not, once they mistakenly played Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball five times in a row and then Daft Punk's Lucky five times in a row after that song! I hate both songs now, which is a shame because I would have liked Lucky at least if I didn't hear it five times in a row.

Some artists like James Taylor and Rod Stewart actually have wonderful music, but it's so burn't out on some people. Well, those people are probably metalhead types anyway or just kind of music snobs. I like to think I'm open to all types of music, but I can't seem to stomach boy bands.
