Most active day online

As an admin/webmaster - what have you seen as the most active day on your forum or website? Is it active with posts/visitors/etc? Do you think you can make another day more significant for your website perhaps? How do we spread activity more throughout the week... Perhaps weekly releases on a certain day that would be engaging to certain forums?

Well, the most members on my forum in one day was 32 and I think that was after I sent out a bulk email for some major changes if I remember correctly.

In terms of posting activity, I don't really know what my most active posting day was. Possibly up to three pages worth of posts on the active topics list?

The most users online at once was 536 and that was a whole load of guests viewing specific topics that must've gotten linked on social media, high up on a search engine list, or something similar.

I think sending out bulk emails always tends to lure some lurkers back in, but that's just it they mainly lurk for a little while and don't post much unless they have a reason to post.

I typically see a bit of activity on Wednesdays, which is interesting. I would expect to see a little more activity during the weekends, not during the middle of the week.

My board must be dead mid-week because out of nearly 1400 members only 5, including myself, have been online today.
