Mistakes

Ah, I thought you meant your current forum. My apologies there but yeah, that is always a problem isn't it lol. I remember you saying in another topic though that your current staff seem to know how to handle a forum (or something similar) so I'm guessing your current staff are a huge improvement on that guy.

I guess my biggest mistake as a forum owner would probably be when I didn't own or purchase the domain for my site, my co-admin sorted that out but later on it didn't go to well and let's just say that the domain meant for my site started to re-direct to his site so it was a little disappointing to say the least but this was over 2 years ago, I'll definitely make sure I have the domain for my own site. :)
