I am not sure if this is the right section to ask but I always see sites that allow people to share pictures, videos, GIFs, and so on. One of the bigger ones is Imgur which I believe is owned by Facebook/Meta.

Is there a means to earn through these sites by having other upload things?

If you are a digital creator, depending upon your content you can upload your files to different websites to earn. If you create pics, gif you can try websites like Shutterstock, etc. If you create e-books you can publish them in kindle unlimited, so every time a reader reads your book you would get a royalty.

Though it mY exist but I personally have not comes across such kind of site even though there are some kind of art of such kind that exist and good for money making depending on your skills of creation.

Well you can use a CPA affiliate method to monetize this method or at least try to promote CPA(cost per action offers) where they get to download and you get paid for it

There are ways you can make money from this kind of platform, one is to offer subscription services to your users and also to monetize the site for Google AdSense which is a much easier option

The most important thing is to ask yourself when your traffic is going to be coming from. I personally do not like file-sharing and I just believe that they are better things you can actually think of.

The nature and scope of the site will determine how profitable it can be to host a file-sharing website. You might be capable of earning revenue from the site via subscriptions, adverts, and other strategies if you can draw a sizable audience.

I once knew a person who created a file sharing site and even paid rewards for people to upload content and then sharing on social media, however, the site did not sustain for a long time.
