Is there a limit to how many domains you can have that redirect to a different site?

I have a video game site, and I want to buy up domains close to the name, and maybe even other domains close to the subject matter. I want to buy these domains, and have them redirect to my main site. How many domains can I redirect to my main site? Could I do it for as many as I want?

As far as I know, there is no such limit.

Having too many redirects can be a bad idea for a website, when it comes to SEO. Like if you have 1.com and 2.com and you want to redirect them to 3.com, then instead of redirecting 1.com to 2.com and then to 3.com, try to redirect both 1.com and 2.com to 3.com directly.

I have seen people use the first method before and most of the browsers blocked the website access, as the redirecting stuff is abnormal. Also, I wouldn't recommend too many domains as the renewal cost will be a bit too much to deal with.

I think there should not be much limit. There are no limits in using 301 redirects on a site. You can implement more than 100k of 301 redirects without getting any penalty. But: Too many 301 redirects put unnecessary load on the server and reduce speed. Try

Sub-domains are a result of DNS and server design. With the correct servers you could have a huge number of sub-domains

As far as possible for discrete sub-domains inside DNS is likely around 100 records utilizing your enlistment center's DNS service.

As far as possible utilizing a solitary VPS or shared host is around 100 or so relying upon load. That breaking point would be set by means of design and the actual capacity to run that numerous locales.

On a cloud based framework or an appropriately arranged bunch the sky is most likely the cutoff!

WordPress website has a colossal number of sub-space destinations under their single area.

I really don't know I have used five domains for redirection and it worked fine with no problems. I think this depends on your host on my many redirections you have been given. However, this is just my assumption.

There is no limit to the number of website that you can have that we need or direct to your website as it was never designed so so you are free to set up your various website that will redirect to that one website you would want them to redirect to.

Why should you redirect your domain to a website, why not build a new website using that domain? Why in first place did you register many domains, just for redirection?
