I know that SEO rankings play a crucial in website traffic, but do you think, we should concentrate on SEO alone rather than working on the entire site?

As for me, I would go for increasing the content of my site, rather than struggling with SEO, which isn't easy at all.
What about you guys?

No, if you concentrate on SEO alone you will have visitors, but none of them will return if you don't have content.

Yes and no. Content creating to gain SEO is a great way to draw members in, and keep them coming back. Though, if all you focus on is SEO, you probably won't have a very successful forum, because you won't have any content for your members to reply to.

Then, do you have any SEO tips, for a newbie forum.
@Shole, it's hard to get new members, in this time and age, thanks to the social networking sites.
So, how are we supposed to attract new members?
I am a bit lost. So, I need some guidance :(
