Is creating 40 backlinks a day is enough for my website?

Well, first of all, are the backlinks high-quality or at least decent? After that, we have to remember that having a lot at once might signal some sort of spamming thing going on, even if the backlinks are good ones. In that case, I'd advise adding high-quality backlinks at a recommended rate, probably not 40 a day.

Yes it is more than enough as long as you build quality backlinks. The quantity usually doesn't matter much. Quality of backlinks help to rank keywords higher in search engines.
