Is Bruno the best midfielder?

Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United has been posting good numbers since he joined the Manchester club a few seasons ago. This season has not been going well for United, but he has done tremendously well for the team, too. Do you think he is the best midfielder in the world right now?

Right now? He is not even in the top 10 although that has a lot to do with the overall team form. But he's also being abysmal as of late.

Fernandes is a brilliant footballer. He is very creative and all, continues to try the difficult things. But he's not my ideal type of attacking midfielder.

Why? He's too hasty.

That attribute can be made to look positive by arguing he sees the big picture faster than anyone else on the pitch. However, he also wastes the ball much more than anyone. And when you're playing in a team that struggles to dominate opposition and can't defend quick transitions, staying calm and getting control is a vital attribute - an attribute Fernandes lacks. That's why Ten Hag continues to play Eriksen so as to introduce some measure of control where Fernandes is all about frenzy and chaos.

Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United have been one of my favorite players in the team. He's brought so much in team and in English Premier League since he signed for Manchester United. Although, right now with what Manchester United is playing, I don't think he's playing at his best. In fact, the whole team is full of shitty players.
