Does it 'grind your gears' when someone takes the time to register to your forum and never posts at all through the whole lifespan of your forum? What do you do with inactive members, do you feel it looks bad on your forum to have x members and only x posts?

Me personally I hate it when someone joins a forum and never posts, at least take the incentive to place an add so I have a reason to ban/remove you... I tend to not remove them unless at the end of the year, or if I notice there are more 0 post members than posted members I'll remove them.

This is a real problem and I believe almost all admins havecome across this issue. I tend to prune all the members with 0 post counts after some time. But not frequently though.

I hate having members who do not post. I mean, posting an Introduction thread would be ok... But I mean, why would you even bother registering if you don't like the forum's niche?

We have that problem here, one or two members have signed up, posted a bit but now they never post yet they lurk several times a day on Tapatalk (Which even more annoying as I can't even see what they're looking at) lol.

That's because the taptalk run behind the screen and they have subscribed to our forum. I don't think they are even looking for anything.

Dont mind my punctuations, I am on my tab.

If they have signed up and don't post within 1 year, I delete their account. They are not contributing to the site.

My boot feels like extending to be honest but I'm not that mean. I just wish they'd do something T_T

Better to have stats which look more 'real' than with lots of 0 posters Jase so I recommend it!

I would also purge after certain span of member inactivity. Depending on the board size and the number of zero posters I have I think somewhere between 90 days and 1 year would be fine.

It bothers me if people do not post but it just the way it happens. Not everyone can/will post so I just expect it really. I would delete 0 post count members after a while though but only to keep the forum clean, not for any other reason.
