I will urge you to be patient and complete your data structure learning. Because that is good skill acquisition. Have seen a lot of data structure programmers making whole lots of money during my travels. You can do lots of good things through data structuring starting from, rearrange, encode, decode security protocols, delete and retrieving of personal credentials etc.

I think learning data structures means we have a lot of things that can be handled on backend. Take example of algorithm that works with data. And how the data manipulates on the backend. So we have a lot of things to consider in that context. I'd be definitely considering the use of data structures in many small algorithms too.

i agree with some stated in here however the term data structures isn't entitled only for back-end services, rather is a term for data management and entity structure in general , it is a term of how to store and manipulate data and also how to associate that data with a user model and its entity , how to pass data sockets and point them to a particular service .
and yeah data structures isn't made for algorithms nor is made for small projects, its a whole concept the same as OOP concepts , don't underestimate it as its one of the bases of a skilled data scientist

Knowledge of data structures can save you the time and effort and can also keep you away of doing "useless work". Think of it this way, most of the time, you would be trying to solve a problem that has already been solved. You are right but I think data structure is more than database activities of adding, deleting, modifying, updating and retrieving, it also gives us the understanding of various data and their types with their peculiarities

Learning data structure is really important because you can retrieve ,insert search and manipulate data very easily in different data structure like tree, queue and array knowing this ... That which data structure is appropriate for different operations it saves time cost and memory as well
