Idea for your forum?

I think the idea of a forum comes from the things we like to do. Like if someone likes to play games, a gaming community will come in his mind, if someone like to read books, a reader's community will come in his mind, if someone like to talk about basically anything in life, a general discussion forum will come in their mind. 😊 This will be the case for people who want to create a community as a hobby.

For ones who want it as a business, they would decide on it based on what niche is top trending at this moment, the competition it brings with it and the scope of growth in it.

Since Gex is one of my favorite gaming franchises, I went ahead and made a search on Google to see if there was a forum for the series. Perhaps there used to be one back in the day, but the only forums that came up were Atari Age and other gaming sites but no concrete Gex community. I know Gex is a beloved franchise, and since the Gex Trilogy was just announced, I figured that there would be fans who wanted a forum to talk about Gex! As for TheeZone, it was three of my communities fused together since their niches were already similar.

The idea for the forum I own currently is something that I did from 2009 - 2017 before I had to close it due to burnout and the rising costs of hosting as well at the time.

I chose to bring back the forum I had earlier this year but then changed it to a Promotion forum a little later. Once I couldn't get the staff needed for the services, I chose to go back to a general chat forum but keep little bits of promotion in the forum so that we have more to offer our community and so that we can also help them get their projects and sites out there.

So the name of BaysideGamers was based on the name "Bayside Virtual Emergency Services" where I wanted the Roleplay community linked as one company that never happened. Since most of 2013 and 2014, I always wanted to become the boss of my website, was sick of being a member on different sites and a moderator. So one day I decided to let my dreams become real and thought to myself that it was time to make my own site up for GTA modifications. In November 2014 the name was created and also got the hosting server that was paid and ordered, started with SMF and after six months I moved away from SMF and did a full clean install of invasion power forums since SMF was good however it was just bugged and didn't like how they were dealing with things, shame that SMF databases couldn't be saved. BaysideGAmers had so many histories in its six years running and over time it had changed from GTA5 coming out to the point that how modifications became dead that the site had a full revamp and went away into of a gaming site. When I first started it had so many categories that anyone got lost. Roleplaying community didn't last that long afterwards, in 2015 I decided to close it fully since TeamSpeak which I didn't own expired and most members left other staff members had a busy life, my mate, in fact, was a real police officer.

How gave you the idea for your forum? How did you come up with the idea for it?
Many moons ago, okay, solor rotations ago... I started my forum based on an specific anime series. As the years went by, the forum expanded (as did MY interests). When I wanted to get back into forum administration, I started my website with the specific idea to cater to role playing games that specialized in the anime style, thus combining my two favorite hobbies, anime and role playing.
