How to revive a dying website/forum?

I believe that the best way to revive any website that's dying would be to invest more time and even money into it. You more high quality contents and lots of activities.
Sometimes a hole change is required for example to have your website similar to latest functionnalities, remove a lot of plugins out of date or support discontinued or sometimes purchase addons that are paid if you are under Xenforo and also make look of concurrent websites and make a pool for members for new functionnalities.

Sometimes that it is dying or that this practically dead has been because it has not adapted to modern times and the content has become outdated or even the design of the web or forum in question became outdated I think that to revive a website should give it a complete facelift, that is to say new updated content, new design, implement improvements as you comment and after all that a good renewed marketing campaign would come in handy
