Hello everyone! My name is Michael and I want to start up a small company to design Xenforo themes but unsure where to start! I have been learning graphic arts for a few months. I now some web development languages. If you have any video tutorials then that will be cool! All of my designs will be for free and that is what the cool part about it. All of them will be high quality.

To build a Xenforo theme, you'll need HTML and CSS skills as a minimum. Are you going to built themes straight for Xenforo, or do you intend to use a framework like Xenique?

I haven't used a framework, so I can't help with that. For me, the easiest way to get started with building Xenforo themes was to get a forum, download a few simple themes and modify them through the admin screen. It means you can see where each part of the theme goes, what tags need to be written to pull in dynamic content and where things can be placed on the page. If you look at xenforo's site under /help/templates they have a description there of how to use the template editor to adjust templates. Once you understand how they work, making your own should be easier.

I'm afraid I can't help you with how you zip or package them for sale since I only make mine to work on my own sites, but the templates guide should get you started.
