Hi Everyone,
PhpBB is broken into two main parts. One is the data generation scripts and the other part is the templates. I would recommend you modify the template files (you can find them in the sub silver/templates folder) and then insert the HTML in there. The script is written in PHP so you will have to know some PHP to place the HTML in the proper places without breaking the script.
You could ask on the PhpBB forums for inserting HTML into templates (don't tell them you want to put in some third party code like Google Adsense or they won't help you).
They can then help direct you to where would be the best place to put the code.
