One of the major issues of forum management is getting members on your forum, not just random members but the members who post regularly. Currently, I am running a forum ad the major issue I have is not having a lot of members. Only half a dozen members are active on my forum. How do you get members?

To get some members that comment on your forum you can get the help of Picoworkers and there is a comment on your forum this costs 0,12 $ or write an article up to 2,1 $ but you can limit to 70 words article which isn't costly at Picoworkers for 0,35 $.

Paying people and post exchanges are necessary for most owners it seems. However, it would be cool to get members who just like being there. However, these days, those people are flocking to social media.

I think you can hire freelancers from different marketplaces like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, Peopleperhour, etc to write posts on your forum regularly.

You can try to connect with like-minded people through social media platforms such as Facebook and invite them to your forum to participate in your forums. If your forum is about technology, try to connect with members who follow technology pages or members of some technology groups. And post some interesting threads and topics to engage them.

I think that the best way that you can get members to join your forum is that you can try and offer some sort of sign up bonus and if you can do this then people will want to join and see what it is all about.

The best, fastest and easiest method is to introduce reward for member who posted regularly. There are many forum today and unless you attract your members through reward system, they won't be active on the forum.

The forum must contains always fresh content because half of forums are containing same subjects that where discussed a lot of time and then reproduced a lot between members of community. This case is something boring having same subject spoken several times where members shows as robots.
