Innovation plays a big role on business' success as it always offers something new. Cellphone brands are always in stiff competition because each phones always release new units every year with cool features. For instance, the apple & samsung competition and many other brands.

I think innovation should a yearly or quarterly something, you know, something that everyone is expectant of like the example of Samsung and iPhone you gave. People are always waiting for the next product in the series, so it should be something given enough time to entice and capture the interest of customers.
 
Innovation is extraordinarily misrepresented and pushed by individuals who need comprehension of how advancement functions and its dangers. Most importantly, I don't figure organizations should be innovative, yet center around being versatile. Development implies making the new and novel, yet transformation implies changing to meet conditions. Indeed, that change can mean advancement, however it isn't needed.

Innovation should be regularly and more consideration must be given to it. You must improve on your products on a daily basis, bring in more things that will keep your customer and what can embrace new customers
 
In my opinion, products should be innovated depending on the clients, they are the guide for many actions within a company. Since when the sales of a product drop to a percentage or when they begin to ask for improvements or functionality, it is time to present what has been innovated.
 
The product, that is alredy used by the customers and consumers should be according to there needs and requirement. The products should be innovative and modern compliance to the times.

Companies should consider innovation in their products when they see that the product that has been in high demand for a long time suddenly starts dropping in demands for it, at this point, the organization should do a research on how to improve the product to suit a more purpose than it currently serves.
 
It's good to innovate new ideas to continue on launching new and future tending to the earth scene. Without the power of innovation new tech we are seeing today, wouldn't have been around. It is the help of creative and innovative individuals that invented such technologies that made life easier to live. We are looking for more tech saavy to help in innovating and developing new techs.
 
This depends on the type of product, the timeline for innovating product A might not be the same for product B due to their unique characteristics. It's always advisable to release a new version of a product into the market once you notice that the previous one is becoming saturated, or you can make the release of an innovated version of your product an annual or bi-annual event.

Innovative is very important in a business as it attracts the attention of customers. It also depends upon the trend going or likes and dislikes of people as samsung & iphones are the priorities of people now a days. I am a cosmetic seller and i used to innovate my product's collection according to the needs of my customers.
 
This topic is only about the manufacturers because if you are a seller then you have no control on the products that are coming out in the market. But perhaps you can ride on with the innovation by selling the new products. Innovation is most common in laundry soap. I have noticed their tagline changing every year like New Super Soap and the next year it will be Improved Soap and then Super Strength Soap and any other adjective that they can think of. Even if it is only the tagline but still that is an innovation.
 
It all depends on the owner of the business, according to my own opinion you can innovate your products every year, this because people like changes and verities, as they say, "verities is the spices of life" . You must innovate your products for them to maintain their position in the the market.
