If you're a content writer and often write articles, and other such things. What would you say is a fair price for a 500-1000 word article? I was leaning towards $20, but I think it depends on the skill of the writer as well. If you're a skilled writer, you could probably net around $40-$100 even. But I think the longer the article is, the more you will be paid. For me when I write articles, it's $20 for a 500 word article up to 1000 words. If it reached 1500 or more, I was thinking charging another $20.

Anyway, what would you charge for writing a paid article?

If you are writing online, how much you should be paid or how much you are paid does not depend on your skill, it depends on how much the client is willing to pay. I have written 1000 words article for $60 as well as 50 cents.

I suppose it depends on the price that the competition manages, I have no idea how much money the average will be for articles with that number of words, but for example you could charge $15 for 500 words and $20 for 1000 words, now it is a very complex or extensive topic you could charge a little more, I suppose you could base this on the content of the article, because if, for example, that article is used for a website to monetize it, you will be paid more or less depending on the cpm of the niche. That article, do you understand? for example it could be
"kitchen article $20 -1000 words"
"casino article
$50 -1000"
is it understood? everything will depend on the CPM in this case

Most of us are already writing for free, right. If you post on article sites, you are basically writing free articles as there is no guarantee of any kind of earnings.
