How much money does it cost to get a new active forum member?

Considering the cost of active forum promotion (via forum advertising, signature lines, contests, etc), how much does it cost to get just one new very active posting member for your forum?

I think it really depends on how you approach it when promoting and advertising. Sometimes it can cost you very little or nothing to gain an active member or a few active members on your forum if you advertise correctly and have the right amount of new content that will interest them.

Hmmm... It depends. You can actually get someone for free if you know him personally in real life. This could be a friend or a relative. Of course, you'd have to explain to him or her what needs to be posted and just how active you would need him to be. The same goes for any moderator or staff you would like to get but you would have to pay them.

To get an active member, if you're thinking about paying a person to be active in your forum, it doesn't cost much I think. Maybe a few dollars a month? If you're lucky, you can actually get an active member for free. Some people do post on forums regularly even without pay. You just have to find the right person through proper marketing of your forum.
