How much money do Forums make and how?

I think most of the paid to post forums make money through adsense revenue and through high-quality and high-quantity traffic. It might be possible that some product manufacturers also pay forum owners in order to promote and advertise their products on the forum.

A single sponsored post can earn you a lot of money if your forum has a huge user base. However, for a smaller forums earning is not easy.

The adverts are a major way of earning for most of the forums available though i still wonder the major reason why some of them do not last, most likely due to bad or ineffective management from time to time. I have been wondering how most of the websites makes money to pay the people that uses the site, I think the more we visit the sites , the more they generates more traffic and Google adsence makes more money.

I agree with you on this, most forum make a lot of money and generate revenue from advertisement. As at last week I had this similar argument with a friend of mine who was in support that most forum do not have any source of revenue and with time it will stop paying, while on my own side I tried my best to make her understand that they generate revenue from advertisement and many more

Forum can be inactive if it receives generic traffic because most of visitors wil visit your website for 1 or 2 minutes for a small revenue, however it will face problem at beginning when launching the forum (first 100 members) after it runs like a charm.

I guess you're right with the way forum make their money,but most especially through advert,forum without advert can't make much money like that,but with the help of getting more site or platform to advertise in your forum would really generate more money for the forum site as well.

I have been actually wondering how post to paid forums are able to pay its members. Like how much they are earning, how, and if it is enough to pay members. Even with many advertisements, there are also many members to pay.

One can only state some of the ways forum owners make money but not exactly they make. There are different medium through which forum owners can make money from their forum, some these are;

Once I was usin 20-25 forums every day. Most of these forums are dead now. If these forums were making a lot of money, they would not be dead now.
