How many spam attacks you get per week as an average?

Not half as many as I used to anymore since StopForumSpam was made available within Xenforo. I used to get anything from 3 - 5 per week until I started using that and now it's dropped right down to around 3 - 5 a month, sometimes not even that.

On azareal.com, the spambots occasionally show up once a month. On atombb.com, I have a custom anti-spam measure which is keeping them at bay. .. I can see them trying to get through in the logs though..

I can't really give a number of attacks, I do see some registration attempts, which thanks to spam, always makes me think it is a spambot, never a member

I have more detailed tracking, so I can see that they're using blatantly spambotish names like.. gdrh5urujr6ur6 or whatever random **** that they come up with.

There's a difference between a member who's having a hard time trying to read your CAPTCHA and a spambot.

On one of the forums that I moderate the attacks are not really consistent. We've had about 6 in the 3 months that we have been on-line. 3 of them was just a single member making a single spam comment. The other 3 were more severe attacks. They were all resolved within about 20 minutes though.
