Last week has been a little bit hectic in webgurubb. Lots of spam attacks. But in most weeks it averages to one to 5 spam attacks.
What about your forum?

My website has totaled over 3,720 spambots, and I was once DDoS'd by about 100 computers. Dumb them using a small IP address range.

I get a few spam comments on my blog a week, maybe 5-6 spam comments a week that are spam on my Teens Realm blog.

i normally dont get any, ocassionally some live people just being knobs

i get a ton on wordpress. i just reinstalled akismet, dont know if itll help, whats a good plugin

I have gotten 0 since I installed KeyCaptcha. It is a small puzzle people have to do before joining that's fairly easy but no bot can ever figure out. So it works like a charm.

I have a lot of plugins I use that protect my forum from spam. Before installing them I would get up to 100 spam posts per week.

I never got a spam attack before. I consider my self lucky I guess :p

Just take the pre cautions and hopefully you wont have to deal with it. But my forum is small, so only time will tell.

What things have you done to stop spam? I remember running an SMF forum which got quite a bit of spam but I managed to completely eliminate it through the use of mods....

I do not get much spam attacks nowadays, maybe 2 or 3 spam attacks per week. I used to get more spam attacks before.

Spam? What is spam? I never get spam on my forum, we have a custom coded bot prevention at registration, and absolutely no bots get past it.

I sometimes I get an attack of spam comments on my blog. It is so annoying because they come at once and I have to go through and delete them!
