Say you have a website, a blog... And you do nothing but work on it and post content on a weekly basis. How long would something like this take before it gets good traffic if you did nothing on your end to actually share links? You just relied on search engines and people picking up things for you.

I think that depends on the site, the person running it and other factors. Each article/blog you post, will be crawled by Google, I believe that's what they call it. Where google catches the article and puts it in their search.

Of course doing promo and other stuff is ideal, but just creating content to put out every week is a good start. Reaching out to other sites and trying to get deals going is another step in growth as well.

It is difficult to give a definative answer. It all depends on your SEO effort. If your SEO effort starts paying, you can expect the growth to begin in a few months and SEO is not working on your site, organic growth might never occur. The point is you need to ranbk high on search engines for organic growth

Most organic growth strategies take at least 3-12 months to materialize. If you are looking for immediate results, then advertising is your best option.

The primary requirement for organic growth is ranking on search engines. You can rank on search engines only when you have produced quality content. There are a lot of criteria for quality content, you should not only write well but also should publish on topics that are not saturated on the internet.

Organic growth doesn't have a set timeline—it varies based on factors like your business type, industry, and strategies. It's like nurturing a plant; it takes time for roots to establish before you see visible growth. Patience is key. Consistent efforts in delivering quality, building relationships, and adapting to feedback contribute to organic growth. While it might not happen overnight, the gradual progress often leads to more sustainable and lasting success.

Advertising is going to be a sure process, but you need to do it right. Organic growth is never easy to achieve, but one needs to be careful with not falling into the trap of spending money without getting the desired results.

Even if a rise in search engine metrics doesn't lead to SEO results and SEO results with profit, you can at least use the high metrics as a selling tool. For instance, if you got a high DA site, even with a less marketable name, you got something to bargain with. You got something that could be worth $xx, xxx or even more.
