How Do You Lose Weight?

Instead of fasting, people should just eat greens and salads. That way they are kind of fasting by staying away from other foods but still getting the required nutrients and energy the body needs to survive.

Do you mean people should become vegetarians? I do not think many people (including myself) will be interested in cutting down on meat or fish.

I definitely could not become a vegetarian either! I just think instead of fasting, you should eat foods with basically no calories like lettuce or cucumbers, etc, because it will be better than eating nothing.

I see. One of the goals of fasting is to give your system a break from foods. When you eat (no matter what you eat), you do not give your system that break.

Oh I see. So then fasting allows your body to use the stored fat in your body right? I guess it does seem like a good way to lose weight.

I cannot confirm if body actually burns the stored fat during fasting, but fasting has many benefits.

When you are obese, you must lose weight! Only way to lose weight is by cutting down on calories or by increasing activities.

When you fast, you cut down on calories, which can help obese people to lose weight.

But that does not mean, you should fast 365 days a year. What that means is, you can fast once in a while and still be in good shape.
I know you must lose weight if you are obese, like myself! But it is hard to fast.

I think cutting down and exercising is the best way, not fasting.
 
I lose weight by doing a lot of cardio daily, 20-30 minutes. Diet is very important, banana pancakes for breakfast, strawberries and low fat yoghurt for lunch and a high protein, low carb, low sodium and low sugar dinner
