When doing giveaways to draw in traffic, it doesn't always work. Most people who enter giveaways, do so and then leave. How do we keep those people sticking around?

We all know most of the sites introduce give away in order to lure people to their websites and the only way to keep them on the sites is to keep promising give away every week .

Since they join because of the giveaway , they are bound to leave after the giveaway, but you can make them stay by promising giveaway at the end of every month and keeps sending them mails about your new plans.

You are correct , giveaway isnthe first thing in getting more members or even customer to come into your business, for example in my country If they want to open a new filling station , they always gives free fuel tonthe first 50 customers.

Unfortunately, majority of the people visit the website or any money making opportunities for money and they would not spend their precious time on your website for free. This is something that I have understood and I do plan to make a money making website in the future if i have the capability to do so. You should understand that time is precious as money.

Lol, it would be shocking to them when they realise that most of the winners of the give away would take their containers elsewhere to buy fuel, the mentality in third world countries is just low

You could keep them by giving the giveaways regularly. Then you can put a mandatory that they be actively present so as to receibe through giveaways weekly or something. Just make sure that that the freebies you give are affordable and will not cause you losses.
