Tech Support How do you handle Backups?

How do you handle Backups? One full backup per week and one daily incremental, or do you have other preferences?

Key question, *where* are the backups? I keep mine on a different server, in a different data centre so I can get to them even if my server is unavailable.

My main sites run daily backups automatically, my sites that have less content flow are weekly backups that I normally run manually.

The server that I'm on does automatic backups based on the size that they allow and also MySQL gets backed up every day via a simple mysqldump command

My hosting does automatic backups, but honestly I create my own backups too just in case something fails during their automatic backups. It's always best not to just rely on automatic backups IMO.

A manual full FTP download every couple days (changed files only), a full domain account backup sometimes, and a DB backup quite often.
