Getting visitors, or let’s say traffic, it very important for the sustainability of your website. No matter what your purpose of running a website is, getting people to visit your website is important. There are various ways to get visitors on your website, for example:

  1. Search Engines
  2. Social Sites
  3. Forums, Blogs, Q&A Sites
  4. Email Marketing
  5. Paid Ads
Despite the existence of multiple methods to get visitors, getting people to visit your site is quite challenging. Just because you have done SEO, or are posting on social sites, or sending newsletters doesn't guarantee traffic. You get search engine traffic only when your website appears high on SERP for high traffic keywords. You can of course explore paid ads, you must realize, you will have a huge price to pay.

When you want immediate results with getting visitors to your website, your best bet is going to be through paid ads. They are very effective when it comes to driving traffic to your website but this isn't supposed to be the best way forward especially for someone who's still new to being a website owner. It's good to try and build your traffic organically over paying for ads all the time.
