I believe that everything happens for a reasons, losing a job is part of the life of a person. the only way you can do to overcome it is to realize what are your weaknesses that you need to improve more then if its nothing then maybe its destined for you to land for the better opportunity.

Experts say most people should give themselves a good two years to recover from an emotional trauma such as a breakup or the loss of a job. And if you were blindsided by the event—your spouse left abruptly, you were fired unexpectedly—it could take longer.

Acknowledging your feelings and challenging your negative thoughts, on the other hand, will help you deal with the loss and move on, after you have healed after a few week you can dust yourself up and start looking for another job.

This is one of the staggering misfortunes one can experience or experienced. Not when practically the entirety of our costs and bills are attached to our kind of revenue particularly in the event that it was simply from a work. This can be a stage in one's life that can be extremely disappointing and discouraging. A companion is experiencing this currently, because of the coronavirus pandemic issue. He was laid off 2 days ago.
Have you lost your employment previously? How was the experience, yet above all how did you beat the stage and forge ahead?
I have lost my job and worst of all my hubby lost his after some months when I was pregnant it was like the worst thing that could happen to us but with family and friends we were able to move on. The best way to bounce back is to keep praying to God for a better option then open in to friends and family to help you with another job, in my case I ventured into business and it's been a good choice, I now have time for my kids.

If a person is sincere with his job, he will never lose his job. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. Prove yourself strong in every situation so that you don't become mentally ill from the pain of losing a job. I think we should create other sources of income for ourselves as well as jobs. We should have no interest in having or not having a job

I have never been in this situation before but u assume losing a job is something that happens unexpectedly, no matter how strong you feel you are when it happens the effects is always crushing. But that's not end of life, one has to dust himself up and keep moving because once there's life, there's hope. That's why the importance of having a side business while working cannot be overemphasized, so that when things like that happens you will have something to fall back to.

I know how it feels to loose a job. I once lost a job about two years ago. You are likely to face depression if you don't find a way to move on and forget the lost job. You have to tell yourself that you are not the first person to experience such. Just surround yourself with positive people, strategize on how to build your own business while searching for another job if you still wants to work for someone.

I went through a job loss last year, and for a time I have been on a job-hunting spree (sending resumes almost everywhere I can find, going through interviews twice a day almost for weeks on end) before I landed my next job. It was a a grueling experience but it put me into perspective again, and I learned a lot going through frustrations and losing hope to looking forward to it to finally something I could do.

Although, I have not experienced being fired from a job, I think I know its a terrible feeling. You only have to let it slide and don't hate yourself too much for it. The company has a good reason for laying of workers. The pandemic has caused a lot of loses. He should be grateful that he didn't loose his life but his job. Let him move on.

It's not easy getting over a job loss specially if you're having a hard time looking for a new one, you might even feel depressed and at the time like this last year many people have lost their jobs and wasn't able to look for a new because we're at the pandemic. I guess you just need to look at your family and let them be your motivation that if you give up what will happen to them.

Treating a Job as a job you feel the need, and can afford to do it, give yourself a break for a few days or week or two. But assuming you can’t afford a year sailing the world on the Queen Mary, don’t take too long before returning to your familiar routine. Create structure in your day. Sure you have more time on your hands than you had before, but you will be amazed at how little you can do in a day if you aren’t intentional about what you want to get done. Create a job search plan with goals and small manageable steps. Then prioritize, structure your day and treat finding a job as a job.

Don't keep it a secret.
Many people actually feel a sense of shame when they lose a job. They feel that others will think less of them and look down on them, so they seclude themselves
and try to keep others from finding out. And, indeed, some people will not be supportive. But to get another job, you need support, advice, contacts, and similar opportunities. And most of those opportunities come from the people in your personal and work life.

Acknowledging your feelings and challenging your negative thoughts, on the other hand, will help you deal with the loss and move on.
