How do you feel about adaptations of books, comics or games?

I am positive about it and only because I don't really like reading books, that's why I always watch movies, but I know that most of those who read the book say that the movie turned out not at all similar and give a bad rating, but for me, who did not read the book for to me, most of these adaptations look great.

I am find with adaptations as long as the adapted version does justice to the original work. I do not too much creative freedom.
