You should always be careful when dealing with customers , most especially the rude ones because the rude ones might be the closest one to you later and might be the customer that will keep bringing in more customers .

You are definitely right , we as the owner of the company or the sales representatives need to first know the main reason why a customer is rude and try to amend if you are at fault.

You may always encounter such people. It is better to never serve them and make it clear that you do not have the product they want, even if you basically have the product. When they will realise that there is no business for them to be there, they will leave eventually.

The way to deal with them is basically
1: Explaining them the situation since they might have not understood it fully and well.
2: Treat them in a nice way even if a person is rude what will it help if you become rude too? if you share happiness people usually treat you better than if you share bad vibes.
3: If it goes to bad and uncomfortable places you may call to your manager who will know what and how to handle it.
4: Just proceed and do your job once you are finished you will not even meet the guy ever again the only thing he needs is a finished job even if he is rude.
