How do you craft out best match domain

So many domain online are been crafted from certain characteristics or attributes. Some derive domain name based on inspiration, it might not be exact match to the company's/organization's name but relatively to it. While others thinks it is perfect they craft domain from the company or organization's name.

Do you see it very perfect to make domain from the company's/organization name or you just sometimes let inspiration take you outside the box?

I give more importance to keywords than anything else. As long as the domain has keywords, it will always have commercial value. I also try to look for short names. Sometimes I register a domain based on the idea I have, and sometimes I just register a domain when I find a un ique name.

I like generic names. For instance, my main domain is generic and it also is keyword rich, but I wasn't really seeking that out.
