How do you choose your main sources of news and information about world events?

For example, I try to follow the news because I need to know what the situation is and how it can affect me personally. For example, I don't trust all the news written by well-known newspapers because they use a lot of clickbait just to interest the reader. Therefore, I have to find the news in at least 5 popular newspapers to consider it as truth.

I also don't tend to blindly trust online newspapers because as you say, many of them use exaggeration in their headlines or use certain titles for clickbait and then it's inaccurate or empty information, I also tend to contrast the news I see in online newspapers or other media with alternative news, that is, unofficial and judge for myself.
 
I usually use google or bing to just bring all the news to me in one place. This way I can see the different points and views of other outlets.
