How could you politely end a conversation with a person who is so annoying?

I've had many cases when a person starts yelling rudely or just talks nonsense about which it's not even interesting to talk about and takes your time. If you told a person to stop continuing this dialogue, but at the same time, so that he would not even think of being offended and consider you a decent person?

Dealing with an annoying person while maintaining politeness and respect can be challenging, but it’s important to handle such situations carefully as it might be a relationship of which we value dearly.

I get around this by just saying "I appreciate your perspective, but let’s discuss something else". In point like these he or she should definitely site i've lost it in the discussion.

If the person is annoying, I do not see any needs to be very polite with him. There is something called tit for tat.
