Customer service has gotten awful since the pandemic, not exactly sure why.. I just know it has declined in general from the way I hear my mom yelling at various customer service agents on the phone because her online orders are getting messed up.
How can they improve? Quit putting her on hold so long. And they really need to make it easier for customers to return products or get a refund in a timely manner.
Esp when it’s the company that sent the wrong item, or size, or at the last minute says whoops we’re out of that item, that’s why you haven’t received it.

I couldn't agree more with you on this issue as I have been a marketer before in the past and I know how most people or most marketers are always in the habit of using general terms to describe their product without actually personalizing the product for them.
 
Customer care service could be improve in the following ways,first employ a programmer who is an expert in programming field so that he could program a web page in which customer could drop a text comment based on their problem, secondly employ someone who will manage the site by respond to customer text and comment,and aslo employ someone who has a good communication skill.
 
To improve a service or product being rendered to s customer should be improved based on customer demands and specifications since its the customers that know what best they want.
