Holidays on your forum?

Do you do anything special on your forum for the holidays ? Perhaps you change the theme or add a snowflake effect ? Do you have holiday themed contests? There is loads of possibilities with this. What special holiday themed changes do you do?

I don't really do anything special on my current board. I used to do some things special on past boards, but I'm not really too concerned about a resource board being festive when people mainly come for the resources and not the community aspect.

When I had my general chat forum I would always change the theme to a Christmas theme and make the logo a little more festive for Christmas. I would also have a snow effect on my forum but it was one that could be turned off or on by the user so that if someone didn't like it, they had the option to change it. I also created a Christmas forum which would have all things Christmas talk in and I found that worked really well to keep all the Christmas chat on the forum in one area

I have seen forums where Christmas holiday themed changes was used. It snowed 🌨 all through the Christmas season. I kinda liked it because it looks so cool.
