It would not be a good reflection of the tutelage the employees received under the leadership of the outgoing manager if one was appointed from outside the organization
There is nothing wrong in getting someone from the external sources if you couldn't find someone to fit into the position properly internally.

The major reason why I prefer to employed someone internally other than employing externally is because the already existing employees know the ins and outs of the business and you fA manager that really understand the whereabout of your business will equally performs better and faster than people who is new and is trying to get used to the business. That's my own point of view.

This is why they opt to hire experienced individual rather than hiring someone else.

Then that could be in some isolated cases,when this is the case,the organisation do not have any option than to hire an experience person to do the job,else they delibrately train theirs inhouse.Preparing the employees could take a huge amount of time and sometimes the companies might not have enough time because they need to meet the deadline.
If the employees are not well experienced and are not capable to hold the position that is vacant, it is in the best interest of the company to look elsewhere and search for a more experience person to do the job.Then that could be in some isolated cases,when this is the case,the organisation do not have any option than to hire an experience person to do the job,else they delibrately train theirs inhouse.
