Have you ever thought about this? It crosses my mind sometimes, but I worry about payment not working. Also, there's the fact that website owners have gotten sued over these types of issues..

I think it's risky and you better have a good developer. Best to use a third-party for payment like paypal so when something goes wrong, they get blamed not you.
 
It is a tricky business, however, there are companies out there that can help with you getting PCI DSS certified if you don't feel confident enough to do it yourself. Are you thinking of doing something? :grinning:
 
E-Commerce is tricky and my advice to you if you're thinking about it is to let a third-party handle payments like paypal.
