I never asked someone out, and they have rejected me.
However, someone did ask me out in high school, and I accepted. He told me how much he liked me and wanted to date me.
Our first day was after school, and we were going to go on a date that weekend.
We are hanging out. He dumps me because I would not tongue kiss him (sorry Maul if that is inappropriate for the forum; delete if it is). He tells me some nonsense the next day about not having time for a girlfriend. A week later, he has a new girlfriend.
I was pretty upset for a couple months. Then I realized I was way better off not dating him and did not care anymore.

yes heaps... but it never affected me trying to find that someone special...

but, its the way of life sadly, i never let it get to me.

I only ever asked someone out once and I was rejected and that made me lose a heap of confidence and I never asked anyone out again after that. I have always been asked out since then and been the one that has rejected if I was not interested.
