Has anyone attempted to hijack/hack your site? Has anyone been able to do it? If so, how did you get your site back? I worry about this sort of thing often. I know there are scammers and bad people out there who will steal from anyone they can. Have you ever had to deal with something like that?

A lot of times. I had a friend who loved trying to hack my site then for fun. It helped build my site security though, from future hackers who tried. The only time I've been hacked is my social media account

I don't have a site so I have no experience of this. But I do have a friend whose site was once hacked, it took him almost a week to get it back. I don't really know how he did it though

A lot of times. I had a chum who cherished seeking to hack my web website online then for fun. It helped construct my web website online protection though, from destiny hackers who tried. The most effective time I've been hacked is my social media account

I don't have a website yet but it is for the best of the website owner to have various security measure against hackers. There should not be carelessly displaying of vital information.

It's very important that site owners only allow trusted professionals run their websites for them, I know of a site that a few weeks after being set up the programmer changed the settings and went away with the company's funds

Yes this has happened to me in the past and it was that I didn't remember to buy SSL certificate to my hosting plan so the website doesn't come with good security network and I later realised that a hacker tried to hikack the website from me

It is important for people to work we trusted and legitimate people online because I have heard a story whereby someone hijacked another person's platforms.

This has not happened to me. I have enabled 2 factor authentication for my domain registrar and cpanel. The access will be approved only when the code sent on my phone is entered. Which means it is impossible to hijack my website.

It has never happened to me in all the websites have been building for the past years. It has happened to a friend like that because it did not install word fence plugin.

I saw a post in Facebook that his website was hacked. He was pleading for the hacker to give back the site to him because it was being used for promoting a business. That made me think what the hacker would get when he locks the site. Isn't it an evil thing to do?

Yes I have that experience where our site was hacked. There was nothing we can do. My balance was still intact but they change all the addresses in order to protect members from the second hack. It was solved by the site itself. But my mind is puzzled how can people hack our sites finances.

It has happened to me before and that's exactly why I detest hackers, he diverted all my website traffic to another website and I had to remove the website from the hosting panel and then start all over again.

I have never had a website that has been under attack as you have mentioned you however I have seen a lot of different websites that I have been apart of attacked by various hackers.

Yes and the only time I've been hacked was last year and that's my social media account, Facebook to be precise. Still trying all possible best to get back my account but proves abortive. My sites since then are being secured.

I don't have a site, so can't say that I have been hacked before. There was a site I used in the past that got hacked, we couldn't access the site for days before they were able to get it back.

I don't have a website but even if I do I really have to be careful to avoid all these things because I have heared a lot of people's website getting hijacked by dubious people and we have to be careful about this to avoid this mistake.
